Thought I'd take advantage of the nice weather yesterday and take a pic to post, just a shame the coolant pipe that goes from the thermostat housing to the carb heater developed 2 tiny holes just as I got home and started chucking water everywhere!  That's me off the road until my local shop can get one in!  :'(

Hi, they were already mounted when I bought the bike, so I don´t know where they came from, Its ABS paintable plastic, flexible and do not crack like fiber does, really cool stuff! Smile

Hi Diablo
The crash bungs are standard Yamaha. Part No: 5LV-W0741-00. I think the price was about £75.00 at the time of purchas in 2002. It is possible to find an accessories catalogue in any good Yamaha dealer or perhaps on Yamaha uk website. They do work. I have seen evidence on other Fazers. They do not damage the frame as some cheaper models do.

Here's mine. Picked it up yesterday after being off the road for about 6 months due to an injury. Paint is fresh, but the rest of the bike needs a little cleaning up. New seat amongst many other new bits on their way soon For now, I'm just chuffed to be back riding again  Smile

Nice bike fuzzy. Polished wheel rims give a nice classic look.  :thumbup
