How rude. Why is it that we knock out sports people when they lose? He's a damn good player and even if you don't like him, your comments are unfair. He lost to a very worthy winner and he played a very good game!!

I seem to recall not so long ago that Mr Murray made a huge point of saying he would support any team that were playing against England, so I will support any player that is playing against him.
Richfzs, I don't play tennis so I would be extremely surprised if Djokovic did ever say that about me however I support many many more gracious sportsmen and women than that charmless burk Murray regardless of what sport they play.

Since when has personality been a requisite for a sportsman? Sure some do, others don't (Rooney FFS?) , to wish him ill because he doesn't come across well is also desperately sad. I would suggest that the standard of play would have demolished the players of the McEnroe era (John is still no slouch even now) Federer or Ivanisevec couldn't have lived with the power these guys were displaying ....But tell me are you second best in the World at anything?
