7dayshop Laura. I get all my cards from there, no fakes as far as I'm aware. Loads floating around on ebay. Depending on what you're using it for, will depend what rating you need? I use Sandisk extreme pro as they're pretty quick for my camera to write to the card quick enough on fast bursts of shots.

What are you putting it in Smile

I use mymemory.co.uk with free postage. Takes about 3-5 days for delivery. The class of the memory card is usually the speed of it reading/writing. It depends what you need it for, but the higher the class the better and more expensive it is.

I would not bother with ebay as all they sell is either no class said or some low class cards.

Try to google the name of your tablet and what other people use for it. I presume it might need a rather speedy one to stream HD video.

Laura, as said above, google your tablet and find out what card it takes. It'll be one of these:

i know its definately a micro sd card, as the one form our phones fit and work, i was just amazed to then find the SDHC SDXC and thought, bugger something else i have no idea about, the price varies as well, so i guess just go for the most expensive lol (thats what a man would do)

Roughly speaking the higher the class the faster the transfer rate

Class 2 = Transfer speed is a minimum of 2MB/sec.
Class 10 = Transfer speed is a minimum of 10MB/sec.

Quote:7dayshop Laura. I get all my cards from there, no fakes as far as I'm aware.

7dayshop is great for a lot of stuff.  I used to spend a fortune there when I was still shooting loads of film.  I did buy some CF cards from them years ago, but I sent them all back.  Often 7dayshop stuff comes removed from the OE packaging and unsealed.  They weren't keen to take them back but I quoted the manufacturers advice (cards should always be supplied in complete and sealed packaging) and got my money back on em.  Same thing with OE printer cartridges, I returned them and got my money back.

7dayshop told me they were removed from the packaging to cut costs and storage and postage.

Now I ain't saying that the 7dayshop stuff wasn't genuine, but the seal is part guarantee of a genuine card and I can take the chance of rip off crap.

Also bear in mind that much of what 7dayshop sells is grey market.  So your guarantee is with 7dayshop only.  7dayshop always sorted out any issues I had, if a little reluctantly on a couple of occasions.

Used to be great when they sent literally everything VAT free, but they play by the rules now.
