Back home about 6:30 and close to 280 miles. Did the A272/A26 back to Tunbridge Wells. Not warmed up yet !

'A Tale of Three Cafes' A good day and great to meet some more of the 'western lot'.

Here's one of the reasons why we were late. Dazza does an emergency stop in the middle of nowhere for "a little walk in the woods".......  :lol

Alright, that's enough picking on Dazza  :lol
Great ride out Foccers, nearly didn't make it out, cold and wet this morning but glad I did.
Couldn't handle the trolling  :b
Love that 272, always better on the way home when there's less traffic and you get a clear run of twisties that just flow one after the other.
Will post up a little vid later.
Think you'd better  come greenlaning with us Mel, you obviously have an off road itch you need to get out your system. Big Grin
The bonkers Husky threw a paddy and wouldn't start, wouldn't bump either and had to call the AA.
He came out without a trailer  :rolleyes  but after he tested the resistance of the starter motor it started with a jump as the battery had gone flat.
So my brother was able to ride it home. Don't fancy his luck, 300 miles on a seat made out of rock and a 12 hour shift to look forward to tonight. :\
So, as Red says, a good start to the season and hopefully the first of many this year.
I fancy a foccer weekend ride along the Jurassic coast in the summer ( no dinosaur or fossil jokes please) :lol

Thanks for a brilliant morning and getting me going at Nell's. Alex now tells me it had a "moment" when he went to start it after fitting tyres, which are nicely scrubbed in after the run to the Chalet. Looks like a new starter solenoid is on the shopping list, as although it started fine for remainder of day, don't want to be caught out again, as it played up last year and Alex cleaned it up a greased contacts, was fine until yesterday!
Wished I could have carried on to Loomies, was there last year on the way to Cheddar Gorge for the day, glad it was "rescued" and still operating.
Dogs fine, shame no-one was around to let them out Sad
