Got some pilot road 3's fitted today. Found out the bearings in the linkage under the rear shock are worn.
More money for bearings now, hope I can fit them myself and save on mechanics fees.

Adjusted the gear selector to avoid missing 1st - 2nd changes in anticipation of tomorrows rideout
Btw, those carbon cover panels look pretty nice
Polished and polished and polished the Fazer for the LoFo rideout! :lol

Degreased the back end, washed whole bike, polished tank and fairing, painted radiator side panels matt black, took camera out to capture all the fun but the batteries were flat. :\ :rolleyes :lol
If you worried about falling off your bike, you'd never get on.
Took it for a burn. A38 for a spell, but of roundabout spinning, back onto A38, was thinking of someones sig (ride it like you stole it lol), recieved a fender in the post and decided £15 quid to my mechanic is worth it rather than me buthering my fender and holing my tyre...job for him on Monday

Cheers boys, it's not perfect but good enought for a first atempt. Going to do the other side when my thumbs have cooled down. haha! Also got the forks off and sanded the bubbled silver paint off them and going to paint them gloss balck. Been polishing my foot brackets too but might paint them black while I have the paint out... Can't decide... I could always carbon wrap the foot plates... haha... bit too chavy perhaps...

It wouldn't be fun if it was easy, I just wish it wasn't this much fun.
Found some LED red running lights I'd originally got for an SV650 suzuki but never got around to fitting. Wired them into the brake lights for additional lumens under braking, worthwhile! Hope this makes me more noticeable on the motorway at night!
This is as young as you're ever going to be!
Managed to get out for an hour.....bloody cold though!
managed to snap an exhaust stud, any tips on how to remove, tried mole grips, but this sod is not budging.
Don't bullshit me, and I wont bullshit you.
Oh dear , this will be interesting, good luck, would still try to work with what you got there, maybr fille two flatish sides for better grip.

thank fook for that, managed to drill enough of the bolt out, and screw a stud in, not perfect, but secure and works...

Looking at the posts above - where did you get the gaiters if you don't mind me asking? I got those direct from www.pyramidparts.co.uk . They cost £19.99 plus £2.50 postage.[/quote]
Thanks limax2, I've been looking for some protectors and these look as though they'll offer more protection than the regular parts.

Rode it Sunday and yesterday in the cold winter sunshine but at -3 this morning it stayed in the shed and I commuted in the car in the warm (once I had got the ice off the windscreen) :rolleyes
