AIS removal kit
#61
Thanks for the photo and part numbers, PieEater. I haven't had time to fit mine yet, but I'll get these parts so will have everything to hand when the time comes.

just to clarify things,
i can only supply the aluminium blanking plugs, they are £13 a set posted,

you still have to get two rubber blanking plugs,
pieEater has used vacuum caps from his local dealer,
( i hope he doesnt mind me sharing his link )

Just to clarify for removal of the AIS you need one each of the vacuum cap and clip for the intake stub on carb 4. You will also need a cap for the airbox stub, most likely you will have something laying around the house that can be used for this as it seems to be a common cap size for small plastic bottles / containers, or you could probably get away with duck tape over the hole. I would also recommend using some high temperature silicone sealant with the blanking plugs you get from Steve so you get a proper seal.

don't forget Pats guide, the only difference is that he is using the tap method so you can ignore the section regarding tapping out the spigots but the rest is the same - http://www.cartestsoftware.com/fz1/airin...moval.html

The two caps and clips used on the radiator and thermostat that I pictured earlier on this thread are used if you want to remove/bypass the carb heating circuit which is not necessarily part of the AIS removal process but can be done at the same time.
