Summer trip to Wales

Nice one dazza just done the mountain Rd to Aberystwyth stopped for coffee then the coast road. Home tomorrow  :'(

We had a nice 200+ mile run around wales this weekend too.

Total of 1200 miles and a great week away. Will be doing that again soon.

You should of stayed in the tent for the first two days and given Mrs crazy a good seeing too, then ride in the sun

Seeing as you did the Elan Valley and Lake Vy...whatever ( :rolleyes ), you might like a couple of other smaller roads (assuming you haven't already done them):


1. From Beulah, take the B4358 to Newbridge-on-Wye; proper little rollercoaster, slimwilly first showed me this one.


2. From Rhayader, take the B4518 to Llanidloes.


3. From Llanidloes, carry on along the B4518 past Llyn Clywedog, then turn left for Dylife - brings you out at Machynlleth.


4. If you follow the A490 north from Welshpool, you come to the A495; turn right, then immediately left onto the A490/B4391 to Bala.


5. From Bala, take the A4212 to Trawsfynydd. Alternatively, turn right onto the B4391 after the big U around the lake end, for Ffestiniog.


Those are some of my favourites, more for scenery, but still good twisty rides.

Did the Elan Valley to Devil's bridge and Aberystwyth on Sunday and again today. I love those B Roads. Most of the time you've got the roads to yourself.  :woot

Cheers for the suggestion we did some of those road's but I'll give the others a go when I take the wife next month  :thumbup can't get over what a beautiful place ito is.

go more towards the west,  the coast road from aber to tenby,  lovely and scenic.  no I couldn't spell aberyristwith
