It's a shame that you have to kill them as they have a big role in life. But i understand where you are coming from as that sort of sound will drive you nuts when you are trying to sleep.  Please be careful in what you are using as you will need to clean up the remains once they are all gone.  be careful of the powder getting into the air in your home as i don't think you will be to well breathing it in.

best of luck and i wish you and your wife a good night sleep.

Hope you get it sorted bill. Einstein apparently said that once all the bees have gone, we are all gone four years later. I'm not sure if that was all bees or just honey bees, but I think all bees pollinate. And bee numbers are worryingly falling dramatically, they have no idea why. So, factor in another year for them all to be gone completely, that gives us five years. Best make the most of them bikes fellers..

He will be screwed then, are badgers protected? They can be nasty buggers when disturbed.
Its odd but the bees we have in our cavity wall, which we are going to leave alone till winter then I will try to block off the access holes hopefully, seem to be dying. We have found 4 dead bees on the ground below the hive.

No, that's all wrong.

Everyone knows that bees are calmed by smoke so, squirt a gallon of petrol into the nest and light it.

They will mostly all die a nice calm death and the fire will dispose of the nest.

Plus you get a sunshine roof in your house !!!
I used to not give a foc, then I discovered Red Bull and now I don't give a flying foc !!!
