Correct........my bike was put onto the sorn this morning........bollox to riding in the cold weather.....especially up here

Put mine away yesterday too, gave it a good clean and onto the trickle charge........roll on the spring
Well i dont uualy do winter riding but i may as well coz everytime im out on my bike it ends up raining whether its summer, spring, autumn or winter.......i "enjoyed" 120 miles in the rain on Sunday and i fully intend on enjoying a few more rainy rides until i sorn it at the end of November.
The big thou isnt actually all that bad in the rain coz it can still pull in 6th gear at slow speeds and stay relatively dossile as long as the revs are kept down.
Easiest way to go fast........don't buy a blue bike
I used to have an RF900. One of the main reasons I got rid of it was that it was total crap in winter. Carbs used to ice up at anything under 5c even with carb heaters :eek and it could be seen visibly rotting away at the first whiff of salt. Bought a Gen 1 instead and been using it all year round for the last 9 years
Its better to ask a stupid question than make a stupid mistake.
