R6 shock Mod fazer 1000
Does this conversion alter the height of the rear wheel from the ground when its put on the centre stand.
At this moment i have a std set up and is very easy to put on the stand and rear wheel is about 1" off the ground.
Just asking as talking to a couple of mates with fazers thought it may be harder to put on the stand, no big problem just asking.

Retains stock ride height so no change as explained in pm if you lower it then yes bit more effort required to get it up

I wouldn't be doing that personally mate - progressive springs make it very hard to get sag, and don't help sporty handling!

In all the units I've done never had anyone want to change the spring as pointed out not the best move old adage if ain't broke don't fix it lol

Was just curious that and the road up here on the west coast of Scotland ain't getting any smoother (either that or I'm just getting older... :lol) I still want the pin sharp handling but would like a little bit of comfort (I know it normally one or the other) but thought I'd ask.

Best bet mate is to get a linear spring matched to your weight - if the R6 one isn't already close enough!
