I think I've found my new winter hobby.
After my big smash in 1991, I basically stopped watching bike racing and following it in magazines etc. It wasn't a conscious decision, but for many years I didn't have a TV, and just never picked up on it all again. Last time I really watched it, Mick Doohan was at the top in 500 GPs I believe  :eek  :lol

So now I've been watching some stuff from Duke Video downloads, and have come to the conclusion that I have 24 years worth of racing history to catch up on! This includes all MotoGP, since the first days of 4T 990 engine rules, road racing since the days of Carl Fogarty vs Steve Hislop etc etc. Think I'm going to be very busy in the winter months  Smile

Winter months are spent doing bike maintenance, which I spread out to keep myself busy, helping my m8's with their bikes (also winter maintenance or project bikes etc etc, loads of reading (fantasy fiction) drinking lots of tea.......dreaming of warmer weather lol

Deer shooting, i am off with some lads next weekend down Dorset, two nights renting a farmhouse, early morning and evening stalking.
Pigeon shooting from the end of the month.

Its the way of life that gets us through the winter.

Pheasant, Venison and Rabbit - that's a real game pie.......a good bottle of Red to go with it and cheese and port to follow - who cares if it's raining!  Lucky man.
