5 years 9 months jail sentence is nowhere near enough.....he is a predatory beast that ruined people lives.....there will be more offences coming to light and I hope they get the conviction to add a few more years...the paedo bastard.

So the news today has indicated some of the sexual assaults which has got him 6yrs. Seems we are talking forcibly kissing a woman (said woman only just come forward(obviously drained the banks of all claims)) patting bums and hugging. All things which 'today' a woman can have us vulnerable men up on sexual assault charges. Harris is guilty of then the majority of fella's should go and join him in the cell.

Mr Justice Sweeney said Harris, 84, had taken advantage of his celebrity status and had shown "no remorse". The sentence of five years and nine months has already been referred to the Attorney General's Office under the "unduly lenient sentence scheme". One of his victims was 8 year old FFS, another abused from the age of 13, child pornography on his home computer, stalked the wards with Saville in Broadmoor....and possibly much much more........are you seriously defending him.

I know it's been said before but I'm seriously upset by this. A much loved character from my childhood has gone to prison for something so evil. 6 years isn't enough but I don't think he will survive his time inside.
Why oh why Rolf. Personally I think Peadophiles need executing so no worries about re-offending A very distressed Mickey

So you are very upset, but you'd feel better if his heid was chopped off?
Hmmm. Anyway imagine that, that would be over one thousand executions a year.

I think the words `digital penetration` hints at slightly more than just patting bums!

They should have given him an extra six months for what he did to stairway to heaven.

I think lethal injection should be sufficient.

It's more upsetting for people of my age I guess who remember him so affectionately from their youth.
Even when the verdict came in, you kinda hope it wasn't true, but the latest about kiddie porn on his computer kinda removes all doubt. I still think stuff like the papers finding photos of him with jimmy Saville are utter bollocks...I would imagine you could find a photo of that genuinely twisted weirdo old fuck with most celebrities of that era along with the general public..my ex missus worked at Thomas Cook, he was often there in ine of his shell suits as he was involved with them in some way, she wasn't a paedophile. Whilst the compensation culture means that some deservedly get money, it also means a vast army of people jumping on the band wagon and throwing out claims for having their life ruined forever because some dirty old man titted them up once..how will you ever know if stuff like that is or isn't true. In the same way ridiculous " racism" claims hurt the cause of genuine claims, this ease of getting " compo" has become almost a sub culture, and ultimately makes you distrust potentially honest claims. There's a brilliant example in the same paper I read today that covered Harris's sentencing.. A undercover drugs met officer is sueing the force because he's now a druggie... This pathetic " it's not my fault" attitude is gaining popularity more and more everyday, especially now it's a financial winner...

These stories sum up modern society........swooning over celebrities and and the great PR engines......giving them undeserved power and influence beyond their station........& then the same old shit now that they are exposed as bad people with constant media coverage.......these types do say that theres no such thing as bad publicity......& look how lenient a sentence his status has given him......WTF.....he is a paedo just the same as any other paedo and deserves no leniency........why such a soft sentence.......perhaps he has something on somebody else high up.........wouldn't surprise me if the judge was a foccin paedo....a buggerer of young boys as so many of these mutants are too... "Have you watched the pistorius trial?........no i foccin haven't....& nobody should unless they are studying law.......why the foc people want to get involved in this shit is beyond me.......put monster trucks back on the tv in the place of the pistorius trial...thats what i wanna see after a hard day at work........bloody sickos! I couldn't really give 2 focs about any celebrities or politicians or media headliners.......all equals......and as we are finding out.....often less than equal.......but with more than equal power.
Easiest way to go fast........don't buy a blue bike

Quote:These stories sum up modern society. noggy, It's what people want. It's not what I want, so I don't buy celebrity obsessed news papers or watch 'reality tv' or the like. I mean I'm stunned that after all the phone hacking crap that people still buy The Sun. Umm, on second thoughts, naw I'm not, what I can I say, naw I won't say anything. Quote:why such a soft sentence.......perhaps he has something on somebody else high up.........wouldn't surprise me if the judge was a foccin paedo....a buggerer of young boys as so many of these mutants are too... Judges apply sentencing according to the guidelines laid out in law. Further in Rolf's case as the crimes took place in the 70's and 80's, then the guidelines from the 70 and 80's must be followed. The judge does not have a say or choice in this. Quote:There's a brilliant example in the same paper I read today that covered Harris's sentencing.. A undercover drugs met officer is sueing the force because he's now a druggie... Ogri, treat such stories in papers with caution. Certain gutter press papers take a few facts and twist and distort them to suit their agenda, create false impressions and of course sell more papers. Quote:This pathetic " it's not my fault" attitude is gaining popularity more and more everyday, especially now it's a financial winner... I ain't no legal expert, but as I understand it's getting harder and harder for us little people to bring cases to court as it's almost impossible to get legal aid.

Gareth, I read it in the mail, how could it possibly not be true...

Yeah but people do believe the crap they read in the gutter press. And frankly it's not just the gutter press, Murdoch owner of The Times is known to phone up his editor and tell him what to publish.
One of the best examples of pish presented as fact is the fella 'that could not be deported because he had a cat' under the "right to private and family life" within the European Human Rights Act. Of course the whole story is totally bogus, and based on some humorous perhaps mischievous remarks made by the ruling judge. But of course once a story is out there. Well a paper can put it on a front page, and if directly challenged (which I don't think they were in this case), which takes a huge effort and subsequently ruled against, well, aside from paying any fine, a little snippet of an apology buried somewhere in the paper is all that is required. Meanwhile Theresa May uses said incorrect bogus story to attack the Human Rights Act at the Tory conference. One would expect under such circumstances that a home secretary having got their facts so wildly wrong would have to resign, particularly as she was most strongly criticised by several in her own party. I dunno, I think it's a sign of the state of today's politics that she managed to hang on to her most senior position with just an apology. But the damage is done and the story still lives. To my surprise UKIP dropped a Euro election leaflet through my door recently. Not so surprising in that leaflet they talked about illegal immigrants being given UK citizenship becuase they had a cat - yup the European Human Rights Act was quoted.

send the twat back to the penal colony, why should the UK tax payer have to cover the costs of keeping the bent bastard in jail.
Or if we cannot do that, deduct the costs of his from vast wealth , supposed to be worth £11 million.
