I like it, I want it, I can't afford it....so console myself with the thought that I am used to the speed and power of a blue one and wouldn't drop to a silver one!
lovely pictures though!!!

Yea they have Nick , That new SX is going to clean up and they have only upped the price by a few quid over the old model, must be some good discounts to be had on the out going model, and to be honest there was not a lot wrong with that one either.
MT-09 Tracer for those who no longer can handle a BIG boy Fazer
That is a seriously nice bike......I would love to buy it but I reckon even after one ride I would never get it as clean as that again.
Well while I was over in Ireland this week I arranged to go and see this bike. All I can say is the photos do not do it justice. It is better than the day it left the factory. It is a real credit to John. Every thing about it is mint. I sat on it but I did struggle to get her upright but she is setup a bit higher than standard.
I really hope someone on here buys this bike it is absolutely mint but sadly not the one for me. I would look after it but to keep it in the pristine condition it is in? I do not think I could devote that much time to it. I just get more pleasure out and about on my machines, I view a motorcycle as a tool to be used, maintained , cleaned as best I can.
Thanks for taking the time John to show me the bike really loved it but I think it would need to go to a better home than I could give it. Good luck with the sale and enjoyed meeting up with you.

Too right!
Now even more rare, with yet lower average miles per year, but I went against the temptation of a price rise!
Hell, a ten year old bike ,,too dear,,
the only way to make this bike worth it is to lock it up for another 15 years, then it will be worth 5 grand...a long time to make a grand !!

Thanks for the advice, I'm off to Homebase now for a padlock and chain. Question is will you want it when you're 30?

I don't think it's to high a price, it's effectively a new bike for £4k,
That's the same price as a new 250cc bike,
The problem being is that it's a limited market, and it still needs the suspension sorted as it was carp from new, using it will mean it soon drops into the normal price for a reasonable one, take my own, it's got just over 17k miles on it, it's in pretty good condition, but no where near as mint as this, however it will have new suspension and still be under half of what this one is on offer for,
So unless someone specifically wants this bike, then it's a difficult sale, as its competing against much cheaper gen 1 fazers and some good later generation 2 fazers,
I think that it is well worth £4k, but realistically if you really want to sell it, you need to lower the price a good chunk, don't look at what is offered on eBay, there are many dealer prices and over priced bikes there, they will still be there in a few months time,
That may be to hard for you to bear, I'm the same with my mint FZ6 fazer, it's to good to let go for what people are willing to pay for it, so 2 years on I still own it, despite not using it in those 2 years!
I note you have it up for sale on Ukgser!
Same mileage as my 02 Boxeye which was a third of the now updated price :b
Better to have it and not need it, than to need it and not have it..
