This is my 2001 XV125 I bought in May last year after doing my CBT:

After my wife had a bit of a breakdown about me deliberately trying to kill myself by not being in a nice safe car, I sold it in October and gave up riding.

She then had a guilty conscience and let me loose on ebay so I bought this 1982 GS125 in February this year:

Not pretty, but ok to practice on until I passed my tests.

And that, apart from a City Express and a KH100 in 1989 is my complete biking history.  :\

Broken, bruised, forgotten, sore,
too fucked up to care any more.

Saw this Suzuki Katana at Brackley today, always liked them so thought I'd take a closer look. You could tell the 1000 and 1100 models apart easily by seeing what carbs it has, but wait a minute - fuel injection? Then I realised he'd shoe horned a GSX1400 motor in there! Nicely done, upside down forks too, Harris pipe sounded nice.

my rd 400 and rd350lc..... these were my favourite bikes of my youth and i got them to re live it.... and to be honest when i go for a ride on my own i prefer both to the fazer 1000.... i think its more satisfying being able to use all the bikes performance which on the fazer i can never do.

Blackcabbie, stop teasing me with 2 stroke porn, it's immoral! (and not fair cos I can't afford one  :'( ).
The demise of the 2 stroke is a good reason to line up the environmentalists and  :2guns !! Imagine what we might be able to ride today if they hadn't killed them off..... :b

A couple of very trick GSX1100Fs seen at H's café, Dorchester, today. Ok, I'll concede (just this one time, mind!) that the red one looks nicest!
