Got out the extra thick tasty warm winter cover (even though it's in the garage) and tucked my luverly bike up all nice and warm.
It's gonna be -2C tonight so wanted to make sure she didn't catch a chill.
my missis thinks I'm potty,  :'(

Removed the front sprocket and turned it around so that it was on the correct way round  :lol

You mean every time you opened the throttle the bike went into reverse? :pokefun

That could have been interesting  :lol

But no, the wear on the teeth was back to front because of how it got re-installed after the engine was taken out so it was causing a horrible knock. Knock is now eliminated Big Grin

Started the bike and let it run for 10 mins just to see if it still started after 5 weeks of inactivity! Discovered that the fronts brakes are sticking on, again, despite giving the pistons a thorough cleaning up after it's last venture out.

Had to make room in the garage for a 900 RRV Fireblade I've just acquired....by chance....while tyre kicking round a local dealer this week Smile  Gets delivered next week (my summer bike).

What did I do with my FZ1 last week? Used it for the first time this year for commuting. A combination of bad weather, getting a new battery, medication for an injury (non-bike), breaking a contact lens and getting new ones cost me 5 or 6 weeks of bikeless commuting. Glad to be back on two wheels. But it's bloody cold!

Got new Pirelli Diablo fitted on front and after lunch I'm down the garage to do oil and filter change, service EXUP valve and fit new stainless bolts, and then replace ginger disc bolts with new ones.

Freezin cold hands in-spite of the heated grips, maybe need some inner gloves.
Opinions are like A**holes, Everyone has one.  Some people seem to have more than one though which is a bit odd.

Fitted a scottoiler. Thought it looked pants being held on by cable ties so made a mounting bracket which bolts to the chain guard holes.
