I'm envious, its 3 months now since I last rode. My hands are now worse than at any previous point in time, I can't even move the clutch lever let alone pull it in.
You're absolutely right about Dementia, I've recently seen my brother in law go into a nursing home after slowly drifting into almost a semi conscious state. I saw a item on the news this evening regarding the number of people who are admitted to hospital after taking washing up tablets and the like and it brought home memories of my late Mother. We took her to A&E on day after complaining about stomach pains, and it was when we were at her place late that day checking out her asthma medicine to take to the hospital that the penny dropped. She'd been taking the capsules that fit into the ventilator orally and had consumed nearly all of her prescription that way.
Pretty lucky she never had a dishwasher really bless her.
