Scottoiler used to have a local representative (who also did a lot of bike touring).
Now that shop has closed, and AFAIK there is no other local alternative.
There seems to be some problem with shipping, customs - apparently that is stricter and crazier than it used to be.
According to the latest email, Scottoiler will try one more time, perhaps directly to my address in Serbia (and if that makes it, it is a gamble to see how much the customs will try to charge me for the package - that could easily be $100 - could be zero, but it's a gamble).
Risk with private person to private person packages is smaller but still exists.
While Germans seem to have tightened policy for packages from outside the EU (about a year ago I ordered a $300 HDD from the US with no problems, just provided a receipt to prove the price I actually paid for the product+shipping - now this procedure with Scottoiler seems to be different).
I'll wait to see how this third shipping attempt plays out and if that fails, see what to do next (and if your offer is still available).
Most things done in a hurry need to be done again - patiently.
