I too bought a Shoei 12 months ago, best fitting helmet I ever had after playing around with different lining thicknesses, and the noise reduction on a naked bike was amazing compared with my old Bell. Much louder on the FZS 600 however owing to the combination of my height and a screen designed more for appearance than protection. I suspect the drag reduction even with all that obviously power consuming buffeting around the head is probably still an improvement on a naked bike. I'd check it out but even being down the road from Silverstone's F1 campus, affordable wind tunnel time is somewhat scarce.
