My 2009 S2 came with a touring screen and I didn't like the profile so I bought the standard OEM one and fitted that. I get more wind buffetting but I am happy with the trade-off.
For two years I wore ear plugs and tried every single recommended brand and type, eventually settling on the gummy silicone ones. However the biggest improvement for wind noise has been the purchase of a Shoei helmet. My goodness you get what you pay for and I now don't use the ear plugs.
