I, at last, managed to find time to go out on that check ride (see above) that was rained off and the sun even came out a little bit today!

So after taking one of my favourite routes out of Portsmouth, through World's End I got onto the A32 and then A339 up towards Basingstoke, but then turned off down towards the Candovers and another lovely little back road (Spiers Lane) to Alresford and the A272.

Alas, as I've mentioned before, thanks to too many idiots hooning along that road the A272 now has average speed cameras on much of it, but I still managed a couple of progressive overtakes after traffic had slowed me down sufficiently.

I stopped off at Loomies/ Moto Cafe for a burger, then back down the A32 and World's End again before getting home with 100 or so miles under my wheels
