Fazer 1000 Jet kit / EXUP

Thanks everyone for the advice. I finally got the EXUP system running on my Fazer 1000… It was worth every bit of effort and every cent spent. Riding has become such a joy now. The acceleration is perfectly linear, no jerking at all. Much more fun in the city. The sound is no longer that nasty, and it even feels like the engine runs a bit smoother (less shaking when riding around town).
But I’ve got a question for the experts. Where did I route the EXUP cable wrong? Everything works fine, zero point is set, the mark on the valve lines up with the hole on the collector when the engine shuts off. But visually I don’t like how the cable sits. If I run it a bit lower, the metal sleeve of the cable hits the oil pan… I don’t get it.
In the photo the zero point is slightly off. But I’ve already set it exactly to the mark, I just didn’t take a picture.
