Nobody gonna mention the current major issues with food delivery riders causing carnage on the roads?
They are clearly bringing their lack of road manners and courtesies from back home abroad and are becoming a menace to all with their total lack of respect for any other road user, or even pedestrians.
Since i've been back on the bike in the last few months i've lost count of how many times they've gone past me whilst i'm sitting and waiting in traffic then they'll cut me up and stop right across my path in front of me, and then while i'm concentrating on that one another will fly up my inside as i'm about to pull away in what little space i have left then i'll watch them goad the next drivers one or two ahead of me by sitting in their blind spot inches from the rear of their vehicle before weaving up their inside too without warning.
We've had decades of trying to get it through to bikers that undertaking is a terrible idea that can result in avoidable injuries yet all of a sudden that genuinely decent info and the rule book seems to have been pushed aside for an "anything goes" mentality.
On that note as well, on the way to work last week i was waiting behind a car for a pedestrian to cross on a zebra crossing, and yet again a push bike rider flies past me and the car then literally scathes right past the pedestrian innocently crossing the road, but then some arrogant twat on one of those electric green Lime bikes shoots up my inside, then up onto the pavement to avoid the zebra crossing but obviously never saw the huge double decker red bus letting people off it, and i watched some poor sod get off the bus but looked to his right while doing so which is fair enough seeing as it's a pavement in front of him, and at that exact moment the twunt on the very heavy electric bike hit him full on.
That simply should never happen.
The bloke on the bike barely stopped and just carried on riding like he'd stolen it, or was trying to keep the costs down for hire, yet the bus passenger walked towards me to also cross the road looking very winded and like he'd just been Tango'd.
Quite clearly these heavy pushbike, scooter and delivery motorbike riders are changing the ways we've got used to in a very short space of time through a clear lack of everything, and something needs to be done for safety reasons, yet due to the speeds they do policing them is almost impossible at the moment, because they're off and gone in the time it takes to say "Steal my phone.
