What did you do with whatever else you've got?

My insurer told me over the phone that the bike is now a cat n, when the buy back price was negotiated. When you say your bike was registered as a Cat N, who registered it as such. Maybe the garage that carried out the repair on your behalf.
I repaired the bike myself, the only part repaired by others was the tank, I found someone local who did an excellent job of that and the side cover. The mechanical stuff was just swapping parts for a mix of new and used. I would be staggered if, when it comes to renewal and I give the registration of the bike to the broker, he didnt know the bike was written off. As its been repaired and has an MOT, why should it cost more to insure? Im still riding it on the same policy.
