Not sure if this thread is still active but I'm now trying my own hand at this mod and having some difficulties with the spring inner and outer diameter. I ordered a 2.25"ID , 6" Length faulkner's spring in order to fit it onto the 2C0 shock, and after receiving it, both the inner and outer diameter are much bigger than that of the stock R6 2C0 spring, to the point that the spacer I had made going off the stock R6 spring measurements wobbles around in the spring A LOT, and I don't feel like it would be smart to mount that on the bike
When making the spacer, would it be smart to make the inner diameter AS WELL AS the outer diameter bigger, in order to allow absolutely no wiggle room on the bike?
Also, would it be smart to manufacture a spacer for the top of the shock as well, in order to keep the spring centered at both the top and bottom of the shock?
Photos of what I'm referring to below.
Thanks in advance for any help.
