And depending on the context and the situation I would agree, but when it comes to potentially and actually 'fucking with your health' you/we as citizens should be deadly serious and offer no quarter what so ever. The hospital are run by a trust, and that trust is operated in part like a business, so they will do what is in thier interest, NOT yours. Its only the doctors/surgeons that give shit about you as a result of the Hippocratic oath.

- Back to 4D, so did you need to ride one of their hire bikes? or were they asking for the aforementioned details just the transport yours from point of crash to somewhere?

No, not hiring a bike, I've still got the fazer. They were asking for the details before they come to pick up the bike, but as that's not now happening, I don't need to send anything. An independent assessor is now coming out to view the bike at my home, I guess he will produce a report regarding the repairs etc, and it will then be up to me to find someone local to carry out the repairs. Which suits me fine. I'll just clarify also that it wasn't  my national insurance number they requested, it was all pages of the V5C, the front and back of the licence photocard, and a driving licence check code. Apologies for that, still a little concussed at the time. They may be a very good, open, and honest company, but having read reviews, and balanced that with their other offshoot business dealings i.e. selling written off bikes/parts etc and the fact that they are 120 miles from me, and that I may have to pay several hundreds to get the bike back s well as incurring storage charges seemed like a very bad deal. The good news on the bike front is that it starts, runs, all gears engage, the dash is error free, and the frame and forks look straight.

On the health front, little I can do at the moment apart from wait for their first response, then take it from there I do have some experience dealing with organisations like these, as a decade or so ago, I was involved in allegations against my local authority/district auditor/lgo ombudsman over a period of perhaps 10 years. Ultimately, the Council was suspended and the Govt took over with some officers and members removed from office.
