They require my national insurance number, and a photo/scan of both sides of my licence- Im confused, why would 4D need a copy of your driving licence, let alone your ins. number, to collect a bike..? Not even your insurance company is entitled to ask for your ins number. The only time I have heard of this being asked and I refused was to do a test ride on a demo bike, where they need to verfy your driving licence. The solution is you as the end user can go to the same .gov.uk portal to get a Driving licence check code and give that to the shop, because sure as shit they arent following GDPR or have any kind of proper data protection. This then prevents some random little motorcycle shop having your/my Ni number. But you were NOT riding one of there bikes?, so what exactly were 4D upto here?
- She replied that the big white ones were Metformin for my Diabetes. Which I have never had. I had to lose my rag a little to get that point over, but it caused some consternation amongst the staff,as some poor sod didn't get his Metformin for 16 hours or so. I'm just hoping there are no long term impacts from that cockup.
- I assume you have kept a record of all of this?, as this is a serious breach of medical standards. Giving you incorrect medication could have killed you and may still have adverse effects. You absolutly need to make your GP aware and/or a indipendant medical advisor, as some of the warnings before taking it for people that actually have TypeII diabetis are pretty severe - https://www.drugs.com/metformin.html
