No I'm not referring to the FZ6.  The high beam is H4 the low is H1.  The mod turns on the low beam element of the H4 bulb. The bulbs aren't the problem as mentioned the reflectors are.

I could not remember whether it was a H1 or H7 and Yes the reflectors are rubbish, but doing the correct modification is bound to be an improvement and is like having two candles in two brown bottels in a dark room rather than one  candle in one brown bottle in the same dark room. Regardless of how bad the reflectors are, two brighter LED bulbs in Dim mode are going to be better than one.
