There are new Led bulbs called Nano Led available from a company called Ledperf and they fit straight in with out modification.
I have fitted these to my Foxeye 600 and 1000 and make a huge difference to night riding. Only thing i had to do was tighten the connections to the bulb
They should be better than the candles in brown bottles the Boxeye.
It will will help in the charging as these use half the current of the standard H1 and H4 and the charging system on the boxeye is not excellent its strong point.
