Yeah I have one of these are a pair of wise lines over trousers as backups.

Would've bought one ages ago but i just presumed they were designed to go over leathers rather than bulky textile jackets. My jacket is only two years old but in very heavy rain it absorbs the water like a sponge, then eventually starts to leak in places. So this is a really good solution for me. I really don't mind riding in the rain at all, as long as i remain dry under the wet gear.
