Also know of a well known Yamaha pattern parts supplier who was selling gear change levers for a specific classic model, the wrong side of the spline split was tapped! When this was brought to his attention he said drill out the threads and fit a nut and bolt!…That’s nice and original! ??.
If at first you don't succeed, pull your foreskin ower yer heid!
