Speed Related Whine

Could you have overtightened the chain? They like to run quite slack. If the bottom run on the chain doesn't touch the rubber guide when you push it up, it's too tight. This puts strain on the output shaft bearing and can cause it to whine. Don't ask me how I know. :rolleyes
