If you are a proficient welder then you will know better than me, because I am more of the weld and grind variety. If your not an expert and there is good metal there I would recommend you practice on some scrap thin metal first. Of course there is always the other option you suggested of J.B. weld!

I haven't even held a welder wandy type thing, or taken it out the box yet.... sure I'll be fine...  :rolleyes :eek
