Mate I see a lot of this from my customers, as with everything it's cheaper for a reason. Yes you can get away with cheaper stuff and it will work, but to a point, start pushing it to the limits i.e. with batteries allowing the charge to drop even slightly and the begin to degrade and cells fail, even when connected to quality chargers.
I only ever recommend OE or OE standard, for yours: -

These types normally come with 2yr (Tayna supplied does) guarantee. Yes Motobatt is almost half the cost of the GS and £20 cheaper than Yuasa but they will work and last for years. If you buy another cheap battery you could be doing the same again in 2yrs or less!
I've still got the OE GS in my XJR1300 it's 18yrs old.
