Hi gnasher.Yes i`am thinking head gasket. when the water/oil pump seal went i let the bike cool down and then rode it home 3 ish miles nice and easy but perhaps that caused some damage...will update this thread when i strip it down to take a look, wont be untill the autumn though, summer for riding bikes, winter for tinkering 
One, is never going to be enough.....
