Decibel police on the A272

See i think it's perfectly reasonable in built up areas/villages etc but out on the open road is shouldn't matter.
Also I think its unfair to stop the bikes then record them are a certain rpm,  if they're going to have this test then I think they should be like a speed camera where it records you going past then captures your plate. The idea being that when you come to a built up you knock the bike up into a higher gear and quietly cruise through then you can drop a few and rev the tits off of it once your back out on the open road.
That way you only get caught when your being stupid or inconsiderate (like speeding)
