I surf, ski, play board games and make "interesting" items in leather

Where do you surf? Not the Solent I presume 

There is (surprisingly), some surfing at The Witterings which is east of Portsmouth (past Hayling Island), but you have to be lucky to get any real waves.

I usually go to Croyde Bay in north Devon, although someone's opened a Wave Pool in Bristol which I went to last November, not long after it started and which was good.

I had been planning to get up there regularly this year because it's only a 2 hour ride, rather than 4+ to Croyde, but, of course, they've had to close for the Lockdown which is a shame given the fabulous weather
