Looks like it has the same problem as the FZ6, they've detuned it around the 5,500 to 6,000 revs range, because that's where the emissions testing is done.

Hopefully you can get it remapped or get the equivalent of a Power Commander to smooth that hole out.

Or it might be that's where it switches cams.  But whatever, the torque is just nuts.

Remap?  Well I’ve only ridden a demo for two hours, but I thought the engine was stunning. I sure wasn’t thinking this thing needs a re-map.
