hi unfazed , glad you understood my early morning ramblings :lol ...yes,as your picture shows,the one on the right (top picture) is what i`am calling the "mechanical seal" this sits in the water pump housing and is the last one to go in , the one on the left (top picture) is the one i confused with the one which covers the oil pump bearing which goes in before the "mechanical seal"...the seal on the left (top picture) is the one that slides on the shaft and into a housing behind the impeller...the kit on its own dos`nt include the oil seal to cover the oil pump bearing no3 on fowlers excellent website...
One, is never going to be enough.....
