Today's "What Gets My Goat" - NO POLITICS!

Had to do one of those speed awareness courses yesterday,it was obviously boring taking 4hrs but I learnt a few things so not a complete waste of time and at least the insurance won't get the chance to kick me in the bollocks like they would if I'd took the points.My gripe is there's always a couple of mouthy fuckers who think they're comedians in these things,like when asked for a reason why you were speeding one shouted "cause I'm a tosser"and the other one was trying to be as "funny" ? by coming out with snidy remarks all through the course.If these had have been coppers I wouldn't have bothered I suppose but they're civvies just doing a thankless job and don't really deserve that shit.

I did one a year ago, and that was my experience too. Patronised for about 4 hours, but learned a few things,and better than taking the points.
Apparently, if you don't take the course seriously and piss off the presenters, they will report back to the police you have 'failed' and you get the points after all
