I think carbs can potentially be better (smoother, more power etc) but only when they are set and run in perfect conditions. Where as fuel injection runs fine 99% of the time.
Also if there is any tuning to be done fuel injection wins hands down as it take 10 mins on a dyno and a computer where as carbs require multiple complete strip downs and half the bike in bits haha
