Overall it looks like plastic and didn't feel like a £15k bike.

You’ll probably get a new MT10 for 11K, you don’t have to pay 15K!
Why not take the R1250R or R1250RS for a spin.  You might just be surprised.  Nor do they feel cheap or plasticky.
