Yeah Dude,bikes with conventional swing arms were fitted with endless chains when the bike was being built, as no doubt quicker/cheaper. For most diyers it's too much ball ache removing the swingarm to fit an endless chain. Wouldn't be surprised if dealers charge for swingarm removal, yet just rivet one on as per normal. With a more modern setup like on your bike, none of that could apply and your chain would have been rivetted from new.
