Ok so gave this bike shop a call just now and its not good -
- its £175 not £165, so either they put the price up or it was always £175
- You have to pay the £175 whether it passes or not.
- They contacted TFL when the news broke about ULEZ and TFL specified what equipment they had to buy, so this is why the test costs so much.
- They stated that they have had bikes from 1997 pass the NO3 test, so its upto to the individual person if they want to swallow £175
- The guy I spoke to is obviously been getting in the neck from lots of riders telling him he is a git for charging so much, so obviously he quite confrontational when you first speak to him.
