I see that Fowlers list the part for around £22 and it's also the same as used on later model R1s. Checking ebay, most second hand throttle tubes are going for upwards of £20 so little point in buying there unless some lists one dead cheap.
I've just ordered something off AliExpress which might do the trick for under £3. I'll let you all know what I think when it arrives in about a month.
