We've all heard about Fazers that have done 100K+ miles without any problems, but you frequently see posts asking for low milers, as though thats a good thing. My thoughts are always WTF has it been doing over the last 15 years or so. Corrosion doesn't stop because you don't use the bike, fuel gums up the carbs and so on, I'd rather have a bike that gets used regularly and is looked after.
The value of mine against something else would be negligable, so I'll continue to keep it in as good condition as i can and run it into the ground. Who knows, in twenty years time it really might be a classic and worth something, but I probably won't be around to see it!
