I've got a pair for a Gen2 would they be any good to you?

Thanks for the offer but unfortunately not ... they have to be off the original Gen 1 Fazer. 

Same goes for any other parts unless they are separately type-approved.  For example, Akrapovic end cans are EU-approved so they can be fitted but a TCP undertray (made in Spain, FFS) isn't EU-approved so is not legal these days.
I think that's why Ogri considers it to be crazy - because it is!
