We've recently gone from an SLK to a CLK sport. It's a good car and having the extra 2 rear seats is something that was missed.
I found the Saabs had too much scuttle shake and you could feel it flexing on some cambers on the road. Didn't the Audi 2.0t lumps have problems through the whole range? I know oil consumption on them can be a joke with how much they use - while Audi claim it's within it's guidelines. Something stupid like a litre every 1/2k milesĀ :eek
If it were me I'd be looking at the older SLK's - 6 pot, MX5 - mark 1 or a Z3. You'll be able to watch the values increase while you own it.
