. Thanks, appreciate your concern darrsi. I overhauled the rear caliper with one of the stainless kits, took it for a run and felt the back pedal pulsing, feeler gauges between disc and pad showed 1.5mm gap (guessing its been bent during a tyre swap in its past) after straightening I checked for cracks with detector spray. Previous owner fitted a new chain believing the old one was the cause of a clicking noise, turned out to be the disc catching the pads.
