Gift Aid is a way charities can get more money, you donate £10 and they can claim 25% more back, and you can then claim tax relief on the £10 you donated in your annual tax return. Most people will probably never claim the tax relief and if you do make a gift aid donation make sure it is for a bona fide charity or community sports club. |
