Nick, I'm not jealous!  The lakes are looking amazing in your pics!

I never tire of the region, even though I've seen it all many times now 
It was hot even at the top of the Kirkstone Pass on that ride - in fact, it has been a very good year here so far, weather-wise. All the little becks and streams in among the fells have dried up, even in Seathwaite, supposedly England's wettest place.
